TURKEY BUZZARD IS BEATEN LONDON England January 29 Turkey Buzzard was much expected to win the Cran ford Steeplechase at Kcmpton January 27 and might have done so had less use been made of him Mr Brown who will in all probability have the mount in the Grand Na ¬ tional was unable to carry out his instruc ¬ tions to lie behind No pace was set and so a mile from home Turkey Buzzard went to the front and drew out into a long lead which he held to the last fence when both Ducttiste and Sir lluoii challenged and beat him
