NOTED VETERINARIAN DEAD Dr Oliver P Farley Identified for Years With Late Pierre Lorillard Stable Passes Away NEW YORK N A February 25 Dr 1 Oliver P Farley who served as private veterinarian for Pierre Lorillard in the days when the late turfman played a leading role in eastern racing died at Roosevelt Hospital Sunday afternoon following an operation operationDr Dr Farley was a graduate of McGill Uni ¬ versity Montreal He gained wide recogni ¬ tion as a veterinarian during his connection with the turf fortunes of the Lorillard estab ¬ lishment and when that sportsmans stable was disbanded he took up his work as track veterinarian at a number of the larger race courses of the country countryDuring During the last five or six years Dr Far ¬ ley was not active in his profession although he was still vigorous ami appeared to be in health His sudden death was a surprise to his friends who heard of his illness only a few days ago
