Ky., May 1.— Benjamin i Blocks Aspiration showed the fastest Derby trial gallop recorded this spring when trainer Jack Baker sent him a mile. The colt, with 1 Bert Kennedy up. started from the stand and 1 ran the quarter in 23%, half in 48%, three-quarters in 1:14% and the mile in 1:40%. • He was under slight restraint in the first 1 half, but was allowed to go along in the final j quarter. He pulled up sound and cooled out nicely. Anna M. Humphrey was galloped a mile and an eighth in 2:0:2%, she going the half j in 53. three-quarters in 1:19% and the miH : in 1:40%. Dust Flower went three-quarters 3 in 1:15% and appears to be in fine fettle. Actuary worked a good half-mile unaccompanied in 48%, the quarter in 23% and . three-eighths in 30. Trainer Pete Coyne was well pleased with the showing of the colt. Lord Granite accompanied by Kitty Wil- liams. a Kentucky Oaks candidate, made a x good impression by going a quarter in 24, three-eighths in 35% and the half in 49%. Chittagong was galloped a half in 51%. Blossom Tide, which is being pointed for r the Kentucky Oaks, had no trouble in going a mile in 1:42%, the quarter in 23%, half in i 47% and three-quarters in 1:15.
