MULDRAUGH, showing the most speed, raced into the lead at once and easily held LONDON SMOKE safe from the start. LONDON SMOKE raced in closest pursuit all the way and made a resolute finish. LA PLANCHE DE BRIANTE stocd hard riding gamely, but swerved in the last sixteenth. BURNT ORANGE finished fast and had no mishaps. MARTIN was going fast at the end. BLACK RULER was far back to the stretch, but was racing-well at the end. BEN VALET raced in nearest pursuit from the start, but tired and just lasted to hold second place. NEDDAM only ran fairly well, but was gaining at the end. GEORGETTE came fast in the last eighth. OUI OUI was hard ridden and kept close up. from the start and outstayed ALICE BLUE GOWN. The latter was outpaced in the early running and tired near the end.
