While not the feature from a monetary standpoint, the sixth race was the most spirited dash of the afternoon with Precious Lula the victress in a thrilling duel with Blanche Mac and Great Luck. The trio were so closely grouped at the finish that it was difficult to determine the result until the official placing. Earlier Princess Lula had been far out of it, but the last half mile found her moving along with a cyclonic dash and she outgamed Blanche Mac at the end. ANOTHER FOE EASTER BELLS. Glyn made a game effort though and finished gamely with Bradleys Tony in third place. The fifth race, in which two-year-olds engaged, was productive of another great finish with Frederick Johnsons Dare Say getting up in the last stride to down Mah Jong and Breakfast Bell heading the others. Dare Say was pounds the best. She was far out of it in last place during the first half mile, hut she mowed down the others in the stretch with determination and caught Mah Jong a stride before the finish. Another instance of a horse coming from last place in the early stages to be the winner, came in the closing test, when Ferguson got up in time to wear down The Leopard and Jtunquoi. Fergusons chances appeared poor at the stretch turn, but he came with a good rush that carried him past The Leopard in the last few strides. FIND AYS ATTEMPT FALLS.
