Won handily; second and third driving. BUCK had best of the start, but was restrained and saved to the last turn and, racing into the lead in the stretch, held WAUKULLA safe through the last eighth. WAUKULLA raced prominently and came fast when ridden hard. LA PLANCHE DE BRIANTE raced well for the entire way. STRUTTER set a fast early pace and began tiring in the stretch. RUSTEM, racing henestly and well ridden, rushed into a lead when called on and, setting a fast early pace, won easing up. MACBETH raced forwardly throughout and was going well at the end. GORDON SHAW also ran well and finished fast, MODNA ran poorly and tired in the stretch. ANTONIA t was given a poor ride and was away slowly. FINDAY set a fast pace to the stretch and quit badly. NULLI SECUNDUS quit on reaching the stretch and ran much below her recent good form. ERLANGER was done after going a half mile.
