Won driving; second and third the same. SALMON worked his way up on the outside in the first half mile and, coming fast la the stretch, outfinished AL HOTFOOT. The latter set a good pace and raced FLO BROWN into defeat the early racing, but tired finally. FIX BROWN ran well and took the lead on the last torn, but also tired in the final drive. Won driving; second and third the same. IRA WILSON acted fractiously and delaying the start began slowly, but racing in the best going gradually improved his position and outgamed T. J. PENDERGAST in the final drive. T. J. PENDERGAST, away fast, set a good pace, but tired in the stretch when challenged by the winner. FLUFF raced well out in the good going, but could never overhaul the two leaders. BILL SIMMONS closed a gap. BLACK BABY and STRAIGHT SHOT could never get up.
