NOTED FRENCH SIRE IS DEAD SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. PARIS, France, Jan. 3. Isard II., thirteen-year-old son of Le Samaritan and Irish Idyll, by Kilwarlin, which has occupied a high place in the French sire list for some years, died yesterday; Isard II. was a representative of one of the most powerful thoroughbred lines in France. Among some of his best offspring may be mentioned Frisky, Lizard, Guemul, Chamois and Dancing.
