Old Trainer Killed by Gas, Daily Racing Form, 1924-01-05

OLD TRAINER KILLED BY GAS Asphyxiation by gas recently caused the death of the English trainer, Tom Cunning-ton, and his wife in France, where Mr. Cunnington has been training horses since 1S7G. In the course of a notable career that lasted until 1903, when he retired, he handled the horses of many of the most prominent men on the French turf. Mr. Cunnington was S2 at the time of his death.
