TIMES UP, from an inner post position and away fast, closed a gap in the first quarter and, saving much ground when reaching the stretch, raced into the lead and drew away in the last eighth. CORAL KERF was close up in the early running, hnt was forced wide on the stretch turn, then came fast under hard riding and outstayed DOCTOR GLENN. The latter set a fast early pace, hut also suffered by being forced wide on the last turn and tired near the end. CARNARVON was going well when he bolted on the stretch turn, then came again in the last eighth. GUANOR was always far back after making a slow beginning. CHARLES HENRY ran one of his bad races. Won driving; second and third the same. AVALNUT HALL was taken back sharply in the first quarter and ridden wide to the stretch turn, where he saved ground and, finishing fast, outstayed TEX. The latter was prominent for the entire race, but tired slightly right at the end. NEDDAM began slowly and was ridden extremely wide throughout, hut finished well and was going fast at the end. ETTAHB dropped far back, hut closed a big gap in the stretch. GEN. CADORNA raced into a good lead, but quit in the stretch. CORTO was , done after leading for a half mile. BOAT O BOY was lucky to get through next to the inner rail while racing on the backstreteh, but ran well and made a fast finish. KING ONEILL II. began slowly, but came fast in the stretch and was racing well at the end. LESTER DOCTOR ran well, but began tiring badly after reaching the last eighth. BARRACUDA ran a good race and was in closest and j game pursuit from the start. RAMA was done after going a half mile. REAENGE ran disappointingly. The others were outrun throughout.
