REFUSES TO SELL STEP ALONG NEW ORLEANS, La.. Feb. 11. The largest offer of the winter for a juvenile racer, made by Mrs. J. W. Potter; was declined Monday morning by F. Grabner, a retired business man of Chicago, owner of the colt Step Along, winner of two races at this meeting. Mr. Grabner, in declining the big offer, stated that he plans to race the colt in Kentucky during the coming racing season there and has entered him for the various stake features on the blue grass circuit. Mr. Grabner. arriving today, plans to spend a fortnight here. He is also interested In the revival of racing in Illinois.
