Won easily; second and third driving. STAMIDALK began well and, clear of interference, raced into the lead in the first eighth and held sway to the end to win with speed iu reserve. FOREIGN RELATIONS, also away well, was in closest pursuit for the entire race and gaining in the last eighth. CONFLUENTE was forced back on the lirst turn and raced as if much the best of the others. Won easily: second and third driving. RROOKDALE raced into the lead with a rush and, holding it well through the last eighth easily outstayed CORAL REEF. The latter ran fast and gamely for the entire race. SLIPPERY ELM was far back at the start and closed an immense gap. ANTICIPATE also came fast in the stretch MAUDE HARVEY tired after running a good half mile. TIMES UP ran poorly and was beaten after going the first quarter. RORK finished fast. FREDERICKTOWN made up ground and finished fast. EXCHANGE and LIEUTENANT FARRELL quit in the stretch. DIETZ raced forwardly, but quit when he appeared to have the race won in the final eighth. STAKE ME showed fine speed in pacemaking for three-quarters, but tired and just lasted to save third place. TABLEAU DUONNEUR showed the most speed to the stretch and finished better than was expected. DUSTABOUT was taken all over the track, but finished fast and gamely.
