TO CLOSE DEAL THURSDAY Chicago Business Mens Racing Association Announce Consummation of Hawthorne Transfer. Now that all angles have been thoroughly : covered, the Chicago Business Mens Racing Association announced today that the final closing of the pending option on Hawthorne would take place Thursday instead of Sat-j urday in order to let Attorney Albert a-bath I leave Friday on the Panama Limited for I New Orleans to confer with judge Joseph 1 A. Murphy on racing matters that are of vital importance concerning Hawthorne. It is more than probable that a number of the official staff of judge Murphy will go along with Mr. Sabath, including Dr. Joseph! M. Kaiser, veterinarian, who will have com-j plete charge of putting the Hawthorne plant, in sanitary condition and assisting William A. "Billy" Myer in erecting additional barns for the accommodation of the many horses that will come here next summer, j "Billy" Myer is at present engaged in some work at Red Bank, N. J., but will finish it by March 1 and report here when called on by the Chicago Business Mens Racing Association.
