LADY MADCAPS LAST RACE NEW ORLEANS, La., Feb. 17. When Lady Madcap started in the Crescent City Handicap last Saturday it marked the end of her racing career. Her owner, Desha Breckinridge, Lexington newspaper publisher, has decided that the mare will be retired to the stud. In accordance with this decision George Land, her trainer, shipped Lady Madcap Sunday morning to Goodloes farm near Lexington, Ky., where she will be mated with The Manager.
