HUNTS COMMUTE MEETING A. H. Higginson Elected Chairman Certificates Granted to Gentlemen Riders. NEW YORK. N. T., Feb. 17. The annual meeting of the Hunts Committee of the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association was held last Wednesday afternoon. The following members of the committee were present: Charles E. Mather, representing Pennsylvania ; Charles L. A. Heiser, representing Maryland ; A. S. Craven, representing "Virginia ; Gordon C. Prince, representng New England ; A. Henry Higginson and J. E. Davis, representing the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association. j A. Henry Higginson was elected chairman for 1924. Charles L. A. Heiser was elected vice-chairman. Frank J. Bryan was appointed secretary. The appointment by the stewards of the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association of Frank J. Bryan as handicapper for Hunt meetings was approved. Certificates as gentleman riders were granted to: Gordon C. Prince Francis Johnson R. H. R. Toland Prentice Talmage Herbert R. Furse William du Font, Jr. James G. Leiper, Jr. A. J. Davis George Rose II. R. Penn Smith, Jr. Bayard Tuckerman, Jr. The application of Jacob E. Ridge way for a certificate as a gentleman rider was approved subject to the approval of the stewards of the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association.
