BED LEGS, after being forced back while rounding the first turn, made up ground steadily and, just failing to get up, was best and ran to his true form today. ZING was forced wide by PENWELL turning for home when the latter ran out and might have been closer up but for this. SEA WAY made a challenge when an eighth out, then tired. PENWELL shewed much speed in pace-making, but ran out badly while rounding the last turn. THE LAMB ran a poor race for him. EL BOBLE was excused by the stewards at 3:40 on account of lameness.
