STAKE ENTRIES LARGE Twenty-two Aqueduct Fixtures Attract 1,947 Nominations. Brooklyn and Dwyer Both Show Healthy Increases Over Last Years Figures. NEW YORK, N. Y., March 1. There was a feeling of jubilation in the office of the Queens County Jockey Club in Brooklyn when it was found that the entries for the stakes to be run during the coming spring meeting at Aqueduct had surpassed those of 1923. The total this year is 1,947, as against 1,909 in 1923 for the twenty-two fixtures. Naturally the greatest interest was manifested in the Brooklyn Handicap, that fine old fixture for three-year-olds and over, and the Dwyer Stakes, for three-year-olds, as these are the high lights of the Aqueduct program. The Brooklyn closed with seventy-eight nominations, five more than last year, and among those named are Zev, In Memoriam, Exterminator, Mad Hatter, Thunderclap, Bud Lerner, My Play, Enchantment, "Untidy, My Own, How Fair, Wilderness, Sarazen, Dunlin, Martingale. Little Chief, Diogenes, Cherry Pic, Vigil, Tall Timber, Little Celt, Mr. Mutt and Flying Cloud..
