FOXMORE, somewhat inconsistent, began well and was ridden across in front cf the others in the first eighth into the lead and held sway to the end, hut linlshed doing his best. CHANNEL, also away well and clear of interference, raced in closest and game pursuit for the entire race. WILBUR C. WHITEHEAD finished fast and gamely. MOON MAGIC raced forwardly all the way and finished close up. PAROLE II. was forced back. FANNY DE COURSY suffered from interference. Won driving; second and third the same. STARGO, close up from the start, was ridden over to the inner rail and I crowded the nearest contenders, then raced into a good lead, but began tiring near the end and just lasted to win. DAN BOLLING closed a gap and came wide into the stretch, but showed much improvement and, finishing fast, was gaining steadily nt the end. ROUND ROBIN raced in closest pursuit to the stretch and finished gamely after suffering from crowding. MAUDE HARVEY raced well and finished close up. CARPENTER set a fast early pace, but was almost thrown when crowded by STARGO. AVISPA was away poorly and given a- weak ride. The latter showed fine speed in fast pacemaking. only succumbing in the last seventy yards. O. HENRY was outpaced in the early running, but clcsed a big gap. in the last eighth. The latter was best and ran. an excellent race at the weights. BLOTTER alternated in pacemaking. but tired in the stretch. POLVO closed an immense gap. BRILLIANT CAST ran well. REVENGE began slowly and was far back, but came past the leaders in the stretch and finished with a great rush. FLINT STONE, under a weak ride, ran a fairly good race and finished well, but below his best form. BARRACUDA had no mishaps. SETTING SUN moved up fast after going a half mile, but tired in the stretch. THIMBLE was done after going well 1 for three-quarters. RKUNELL made a fast finish.
