y TO COURT OF GREY LAG LEXINGTON, Ky., March 9. Johnny Miller is making preparation to leave here in a day or two for New York with several thoroughbreds. Among them will be three mares from August Belmonts nursery stud that are to visit the court of Grey Lag at Rancocas stud in New Jersey. One is Felicity dam of Sporting Blood, by Rock Sand, out of Fides, by The Ill-Used. She yesterday foaled a chestnut colt by John Samfords Archaic. Blue Grass half-sister to Hourless, by Prince Palatine from Hour Glass II., by Rock Sand, and Catalpa, by Tracery Cattish, by Melton, are the others. Another to be taken is How Fair, the four-year-old daughter of Fair Play and Hour Hand half-sister to Hourless, by Ethel-bert. She has been turned out at the Nursery Stud and is going back into training.
