Won driving: second and third the same. MARGARET WHITE, after being shut off at the start, saved ground on the turns and, luckily getting through in the stretch, came with a rush and out finished CANNONBALL. The latter ran a good and game race, only succumbing in the last stride. LITTLE SMILE showed the most speed to th stretch and finished gamely. BOBBY ALLEN, away slowly, made up ground and finished fast. JOHN JR. and NO AVONDER tired badly in the final eighth.
