The latter was forced to race ou the outside throughout and lost ground on all the turns. TUBBY A. tired. Won handily; recond and third driving. RED LEGS overcame much trouble at the start, then quickly raced to the front and, setting a gcod pace, held DERNIER SOU safe through the final quarter. DERNIER SOU was interfered witli soon after the start, but raced into forward contention and ran a good and game race. CHIPPENDALE closed a gap and easily outstayed GOLD BRYAN. The latter tired in the final eighth. FRANK FOGARTY was hard ridden and had no mishaps. Scratched 77S3GPiedra, 107; 77795Dickie Dix, 110. Overweight Dernier Sou, 1 pound. SINGAPORE was caught in a jam at the start, then closed a gap and probably was best. PRINCE K. was shut off on the backstretch. WYNNEWOOD raced poorly for him.
