Evandeer is second choice at 9 to 1. Tho feature of the wagering on the race during the past few days has been the sharp play developing about Condover. A few days ago he was quoted at 20 to 1, but Friday strong backing developed for him and he was quickly backed down to 100 to 8. Jarvie is. quoted at 100 to C; Soval at IS to 1; West-mead, Morestal and Crimson Dawn ac 20 to 1. The weather during the past week has been decidedly favorable, with brilliant, sunny days, and the trainers have been atlo to send their charges right along in preparation for the race.
