GRANT NEW YORK LICENSES : Papers Are Issued for 155 Trainers and Thirty-five Jockeys. Jclley Fails to Obtain License for Coming Season Stephen ODonnclI and Ivan Tarkc May Hide Here. NEW YORK. N. Y., March IS. Licenses were granted by the Jockey Club last week to 135 trainers and thirty-five jockeys for the coming racing season. A license was refused to E. Jelley, the P. S. P. Randolph contract rider, who was set down during the Empire City meeting last fall. His case at that time was referred to the stewards of the Jockey Club. M. Halls application for a trainers license was tabled. This action was of a routine nature, as Hall is under suspension in Canada.
