CREAM PUFF -was crowded back at the start and was taken up, but closed an immense gap in the last quarter and, finishing fast and gamely, got up to win in the final strides. ROSITA saved ground on all the turns and outgamcd WANDERLUST at the end. The latter set a fast pace for the going, but tired. DEXTROSE ran far below her true form and quit in the stretch. ZUNELLE were IRISH DAWN down and passed him easily near the end. The latter saved ground on all the turns, but tired. JOB THAYER came wide when entering -the stretch. DUSTMAN was pulled up at the start and, closing an immense gap while working his way up on the outside, finished with a rush. CAPTAIN KINNARNEY set the pace briefly and made .1 game finish. DAMAGE was a forward contender to the stretch and tired. NEEDY finished fast and close up. The latter was in a jam oa the first turn, where he was knocked sideways and finished fast and almost got up. SUPERIOR came through fast on the inside in the stretch and finished close up, but tiring. ALLURING rau well. UEBCULKS closed a gap. VICE-CHAIRMAN quit badly. The latter made the pace to the stretch and quit. JACQUERIE was under restraint in the early running and came wide "when entering the stretch.
