Won driving; second and third the same. KDMON, away fast and well ridden, saved ground by a close stretch turn and, under hard riding, withstood the rush of DIXIE BOY. The latter came through on the inside when the others swung wide anil finished fast and gaining. CHULA VISTA was forced extremely wide when turning for home and, after losing much ground, made a game finish. LITTLE SHASTA and VOORFLOR swerved out badly when turning for home, then tired. SWEET AND LOW. away slowly, rushed up to the early leader at once and, passing him after entering the stretch, held HARTELLE safe in the final drive. The latter raced forwardly and finished fast. JOE V., showing much speed, took the lead, but was taken back and saved to the stretch, where he finished resolutely when called on and outfinished DELL EVANS in the last strides. The latter cliallenged the leader midway of the stretch and after appearing the winner tired right at the end. MISS EMMA G. finished fast and outstayed EMDEN. The latter, racing in improved form and showing much speed, tct the pace to the last eighth, where he tired badly. STONE BELL made up ground. GLAD HAND cosed a big gap and finished fast. CONTRIBUTION set a good pace and, racing LUCKY DOLLAR and SLY FOX into defeat, drew away into a good lead, but had to be hard ridden through the final eighth to withstand the rush of BARDALID. The latter closed a great gap and if off to better advantage would probably have won. SEBA worked her way up to a prominent position midway of the stretch, then tired. BRAMTON, in trouble soon after the start and forced to pull up, came from far back and finished fastest of all. SLY FOX. LUCKY DOLLAR and VIBRATOR tired and quit badly.
