Shafer of Chicago, owner of the magnificent Cold Stream Farm, now the home of a small but s. let band of thoroughbreds, under the management of Tom B. Young. son of the late Col. Milton Young. is here for a brief visit and was present at the Kentucky Association course Saturday to witness some of the gallops. Two of the valuable English mares brought ov.-r last winter by Manager Young for the Cold Stream Farm foaled during the week. R salind, by Rossendalo. out of Croceum, dam of the winners of over fieO.Mt, by Martagon. has a bay colt by Sufan The Great and visits Peter Tan this year. Eager Cissy, dam of Frantic Haste, by Cicero — Bagreaa, by Eager, has a bay filly l» Btedfhat, sire of Brownhylda, winner of the Epsom Oaks of last year. Eager Cissy visits Broomstick.
