The latter began fast and, saving ground on th" turn, raced into a brief lead, but could not hold it. CRIMP made a game finish, but could not overtake the two leaders. I.OI.LIPOP was poorly ridden, almost fell at several jumps and ran into MCK twice while going over the obstacles. CORFIB had no mishaps.
