I 9 I 0 * 0 0 D . 1 . J . CHICAGO TURFMAN ADDS TO HIS STABLE DATONIA. Ky., June 13.— Frederick Grab-ner of Chicago has, in partnership with William Perkins, bought from J. V. Shipp, master of Sunny Slope Farm, near Midway, Ky., a couple of fine looking colts bred by Mr. Shipp, and which will remain on the farm until October 1, when Perkins will take them to the Iexington track to break and put in training. One of the youngsters is a chestnut by Ballot — Jurisdiction, and the other a bay by Vandergrift — Sidelight. The purchase price, which was a high one, was not made public. Mr. Grabners good two-year-old colt Step Along will be shipped to Windsor at the end of the Latonia meeting to start in the stake for two-year-olds to be run at the Canadian border track in the early part of July. Afterwards he will be sent to Hawthorne to start in the Congress Hotel Stakes to be run August 2. Perkins has arranged to ship the major portion of his stable to Hawthorne at the close of the Latonia meeting.
