FAIR LATONIA- DAILY TURF GOSSIP AT NOTED KENTUCKY TRACK LATONIA, Ky., June 14. The Audley Farm Stables Princess Doreen, •victress in the American Coaching Club Oaks at Belmont Park, is due to return to La-tonia Sunday morning. W. R. Coes Ohone, ■which was unplaced in the same stake, will arrive in the same car. I Seths Treasure, Red Seth and Star Girl, the trio of two-year-olds that J. McGovern has been handling for Mrs. G. W. Church, have been turned over to W. E. Suggs to train. Stake blanks for the Breeders Futurity, to "be run at the Lexington fall meeting of 1926, have been received. Entries close July 1. S. N. Holman arrived Saturday to do missionary work on behalf of the Maple Heights meeting, which opens July 12 and continues tor nineteen days. Edward Cebrian. well-known California breeder, was an arrival Saturday morning /or a brief visit. Mr. Cebrian last winter disposed of the major portion of his turf holdings and his few remaining horses are being trained by John O. Whitlow. J. O. Whitlow has bought from S. D. Lee the plater Major Chilton for a private consideration. Saturday was pay day for the Latonia jockeys. L. McDermort drew down 06, the highest amount for the six days work. According to present plans of the Green-tree Stable, its horses will be shipped to Saratoga at the close of the present meeting and, after the Saratoga meeting, be returned to these parts to campaign on Kentucky tracks in the falL Trainer Clyde Phillips may send several of the horses to Chicago to be raced at Hawthorne. E. R. Bradley loft after the races for his Idle Hour Farm to spend Sunday and look over the new crop of horses that will carry his colors next year. • Big Sis, a starter in the first race, came out of that contest badly lamed and had to be dismounted by Taylor after he pulled her up. Thomas B. Cromwell, secretary of the Raceland track, was among the visitors and secured a number of applications for stable space at the new Kentucky course.
