Won driving; second and third the same. Q1PU FLYER began slowly, but moved up steadily on the outside and. finishing with a rush through the final sixteenth, got up to win in the closing strides. MARGARET ST. L. showed the aiost early speed and shook off WAX I..ABY, but tired badly in the final strides. WAX LADY followed the early leader closely and moved up gamely at the eighth post, but tired near the end. CUARUE AM KUSON finished resolutely. WEDLOCK ran well and had no mishaps. Won easily; second and third driving.. BLIND PLAY began slowly, but worked his way up on the outside and, gaining steadily in the stretch swerved over and interfered with LANIUS, forcing the latter against SHERMAN, then drew clear, but was disqualified. SHERMAN was a forward contender from the start and was going fast when he met with interference. LANITS was close up from the start and also met with interference, but came again on the outside and finished fast. BONAPARTE began from the extreme out-side aad was rushed to the leaders, but tired in the stretch. PEPP finished steadily. WESTWICK showed the most early speed briefly. LILY M. followed the early leader closely and. moving up steadily on the outside while rounding ttie last turn, came wide when entering the stretch and swerved over to the iaside at the eighth post, causing a jam. nut took the lead again under hard riding. BUCK POND forced the pace throughout and outfinished BYRON in the final strides. The latter gained steadily and finished fast. ROSA YETA was unprepared at tie start and was as good as left, but closed a big gap and finished fastest of all. ALADDIN ran far below his true form. HIDDEN JEWEL showed high Sliced in the early pact-making, but was crowded back at the eighth post when the winner crossed over .and went to his knees. The latter began slowly and was forced to work his way up on U*e outside, but tired and swerved to the inner rail near the end. JESSAMINE raced well from the start. UI.ADYS V. saved ground by racing next to the inner rail. CUBA BELLE finished well on i the outside. VULCAIN QUEEN showed the most speed to the stretch and quit.
