BELMONT PARK FIGURES • Total of 00,735 Distributed During Meeting of 20 Days. ♦ Rancocas Takes Lion Share of Prises — Mad Flay Tops the Horses; Hlldreth the Trainers and L. Fator the Jockeys. I ** The Westchester Ttacing Association distributed the sum of 00,735 during the Belmont Park meeting of 20 days, which began on May 22 and came to an end June 13. There were 120 races run and the daily average distribution amounted to 5,036. The formidable Rancocas establishment of Harry M. Sinclair so ably presided over by ■ trainer S. C. Hildreth won nearly one-third of the prize money, horses carrying the noted silks winning fifteen races and 2,730. The rich Belmont Stakes was one of the spoils that fell to Rancocas. The II. P. Whitney and J. S. Cosden stables also figured prominently in the racing and earned substantial sums in stakes and purses. Mad Play, by virtue of his impressive victory in the Belmont Stakes, was the largest winner among the horses participating in the racing. Bracadale, a stablemate of Mad Play, was another big winner as were Princess r oreen. Mad Hatter and Missionary. While Ij. Fator rode the largest number of winners during the meeting, it was J. Maiben that really attracted the most attention. He piloted fifteen winners to sixteen to the credit of L. Fator. Maibens percentage was extraordinarily high, 45 to Fator*s 30. The training honors were monopolized by S. C Hildreth, who saddled fifteen winners, while Billy Garth was his nearest rival with seven.
