Won easily; second and third driving. EL CANOE was knocked back after the start, but passed PANKETA in the stretch and won going away. WHAT IS IT worked his way up steadily and made a fast finish. Won handily; second and third driving. CHUCKLE was taken to the front before beginning the second turn of the field and held his lead when challenged by LOLLIPOP. The latter moved up steadily after making a turn of the field, but could not quite get up and pulled up lame. HUONORA made up ground and was running gamely at the end. DAMON RUNYON ran well and saved ground on all the turns, but could not Withstand the winners challenge. BALL GEE finished fast after having lost considerable ground on the last turn. ST. NICHOLAS began slowly, but finished fast. THISTLEWOOD ran away a half mile before the start and was cased up whep he tired after leading to the stretch. KINGS COURT set the pace to nearly the half, then allowed PERSISTENCE and CATAMARAN to go past without moving and, coming on the outside of PERSISTENCE when the latter fell lame at the eighth post, won going away. CATAMARAN moved up with PERSISTENCE when Hearing the half and finished well and ran away a mile after the finish. FAST MACK, under restraint early, failed when called on, but finished well. HONOR MAN, badly outrun for the first half, slipped through on the in-Bide at the head of the stretch and finished fastest of all. HILLMAN set a good pace and tired. ItADY HEART quit in the stretch. BUDDIE KEAN moved up on the turn and then tired. STONEWALL was taken up at the start and lost much ground. .
