Won driving; second and third the same. BOWMAN, away well and racing on the inside throughout, came fast and resolutely through the final eighth and outgamed WILLIAM TELL in the final drive. The latter was bumped by FEYSUN when he made his move and knocked off his stride, but came again and finished fast. FEYSUN raced well from the start, but was tiring badly at the end. FREE HAND showed the most speed from the start, but tired after leading to the stretch. LALLY ran well to the stretch and quit. Won easily; second and third driving. EL KANTARA outrun and outjumped the others and drew away into a long lead to win in a canter. CANAQUE was saved under restraint for the first turn of the field, then closed up resolutely and outstayed SEA SKIPPER in the final drive. The latter raced in closest early pursuit of the winner, but tired badly through the final turn of the field. BETHANY ran well and had no mishaps. BULLSEYE ran below his best form. KING ALBERT raced forwardly all the way and made a game challenge on the far turn, but was easily held safe. NEGOCIATEUR was outpaced, but closed up some ground in the stretch. Went to post at 4:17. At post 2 minutes. Start good and slow. Won easily; second and third driving. ALADDIN, away well and running one of his occasional good races, set a fast pace and, racing SEA GRASS into defeat, won going away. WAR MASK raced as if much the best, was repeatedly interfered with in the early running, but closed a big gap and when clear was hampered by BEAR GRASS in the final sixteenth. ItKAR GRASS followed the early pacemaker closely, but tired and swerved over to the inside at the end. SUPERBUM raced prominently throughout. GAY KEN ran well. ROYAL CIIAHLIE caused a jam while rounding the far turn when he crossed over.
