Kearns arrived at Empire City from Montreal, where he raced with considerable success. Jockey Clarence Turner has severed his connection with the Riviera Stable and will in future ride for the Oak Ridge Stable. James Fitzsimmons will divide the public stable that he is racing here, sending some to Empire City, while the remainder will go to Saratoga. Polo Ground, a Latonia" Derby eligible in the stable of John E. Madden, following a mile and a half trial in 2:33, was shipped to Latonia for his engagement. Our Boots, a jumper in the Greentree Stable, was destroyed today. The horse suffered a fracture of a bone in the foreleg and no hopes were held out for its recovery. Trainer M.
