5,000 FOR STEEPLECHASER HAMILTON, Ont, June 26. Commander J. K. L. Ross this afternoon bought Top Notch, an easy winner of the Auteuil Steeplechase at the opening of the meeting. Willie Wilson, representing Mrs. E. B. Mc-Eachren, was the seller. Commander Ross declined to discuss the terms of the sale, but report placed the purchase price at ?15,000.
