STARS IN CHICAGO SPECIAL Princess Doreen Shipped to Hawthorne Entries of Little Chief and Sarazen Received. HAWTHORNE RACE TRACK. Aug. 15. Chacolet regarded as the greatest race mare in training at present, will be a starter in the Chicago Special to be run at Hawthorns August 23. Hal Price Headley, her owner, telegraphed from Buffalo that he was shipping Chacolet, Hopeless and Pyroot tomorrow. He asked for definite assurance that the race would go. Judge Murphy answered him that the race would stand, irrespective of the number of starters. Hopeless is in the Labor Day Handicap and it is possible Chacolet will also be entered in the re-opening of the stake today and three horses will posibly remain to the end of the meeting. Billy Myer who is at Ft Erie today telegraphed before leaving Saratoga that he had the entries of Little Chief, the outstanding horse at Tiajuana last winter, King Solomons Seal and Sarazen. It is hoped tr.at Mrs. Vanderbilt will ship Sarazen as Chicago-ans have a sentimental interest in the horse, on account of it making its reputation here last year. Harry S. Hart wired the entry of Fredericktown from New York. Giblon is entered in Saturdays handicap and his performance will be watched with interest. There are many shrewd horsemen Avho regard him as possibly the best three-year-old in the West. Kay Spence, head trainer of the Audley Farm Stable is shipping fourteen horses from Saratoga. The stalls have been bedded in the stable which Pete Coyne vacated, Princess Doreen will be the stables representative in the special. The local horsemen are taking a keen interest in the race and many are entering, some with the idea that they might scratch a victory and others possibly for sentimental reasons. Howard Oots has entered Laveen and this filly with her phenomenal rush through the stretch might be an important factor. Other local entries are Polvo, Boy O Boy, Pricemaker, Postillion, Tip Toe Inn, Red Wingfield and Belphrizonia
