Won driving; second and third the same. FRATERNITY II. began slowly, but worked his way up into forward contention quickly and, coming fast from the stretch turn, stood a long drive gamely and outstayed SLEDGE in the final drive. The latter saved ground on the rtretch turn and passed VULCAIN QUEEN when an eighth out, but was tiring at the end. VULCAIN QUEEN raced well and had no mishaps. SUN RAJAn was badly outrun early and came with a rush on the outside in the stretch. LEVOY ran poorly. REDSKIN set a fast early pace and quit badly under his weight. PIRATE GOLD followed the leaders closely, but crowded TASSEL repeatedly in the running and, racing to PARLAYS when going to the final jump, outgamed him in the final drive. PARLAYS jumped well throughout, but was tiring through the final quarter. DOUBLE TIP was outrun all the way and was not persevered with. TASSEL met with interference and fell at the fifteenth jump. COCKNEY was outrun to the stretch, but came with a rush into a fast-going second. QUARANTINE showed the most early speed, but tired badly. NEW GOLD ran well and saved ground on the turns. RIG BLAZE followed MY PLAY under restraint and, coming on the outside of the leaders on the stretch turn, came fast through the stretch and outfinished MY PLAY in the final drive. The latter set a fast pace from the start, saved ground on all the turns, finished gamely, but was tiring at the end. LITTLE CHIEF ran a good race from the start and finished resolutely. WILKES-BARRE saved ground on the turns and finished fast. VALADOR closed up some ground. KING SOLOMONS SEAL ran well. EXODUS met with early interference from WILKES-BARRE and refused to extend himself afterwards. THUNDERCLAP quit in the stretch. Scratched S1305 Dunlin, 109; S1935 Cherry Pie, 102. ARBITRATION closed a gap with a rush. YOLANTE ran fairly well. THE BAT was always outpaced. BARBARY BUSH moved up steadily and finished fastest of all. PURITY ran a good race all the way. NELLIE KELLY set a fast early pace, but quit after going seven-eighths. ARAGON was always outrun.
