GOLDEN LYNN began slowly and was far back to the last turn, but came fast through the stretch and outstayed TRY AGAIN. The latter raced forwardly and took the lead in the stretch, but could not withstand the winners rush. BOO BOO ran a good race and might have been more dangerous but for interference by the winner. ACCELERATION closed a big gap after coming wide. GLIDING FOX probably will improve and was eased up in the last eighth. HELEN CARTER set a fast pace for a half, but quit in the strecth. Won easily; second and third driving. I.ODY GUARD, away fast and showing a good order of speed, raced into the lead in the first half and held CLOUGHJORDAN safe through the stretclt. CLOUGHJORDAN set a fast early pace and finished gamely to- hold second place. SOLDIER II. came from far back in the stretch and finished gamely. TRUE AMERICAN made up ground; but began tiring in the last eighth. THEO raced prominently lo t lie stretch, but can do much better. MUSKALLONGE quit in the stretch. MAX BRICK, fairly close up from the start, came with a great rush through the last eighth and. finishing gamely, took the lead and drew away in the last twenty yards. COYNE ran a good effort and stood the final drive resolutely. FINDAY set a fast pace and saved much ground on the turns, but began tiring in the last eighth. FREECUTTER closed a gap. AUNTIE MILLIN tired in the stretch. BEAUTIFUL ADDIE was away slowly and had scant chance under her inexperienced rider. WHALEBONE ran well for three-eighths. GUVNOR quit in the stretch. DR. HICKMAN showed the most speed and set a fast pace, but began tiring in the last eighth. ALLEDEN saved much ground on the stretch turn and, under a good ride, outstayed SAKAH. The latter ran wll and made a game finish. EVERGLADE ran poorly. REMNANT ran well for a half. Overweights Quince Garden, 1 pound; Remnant, 2; Stake Me, 5. 090 CCQ FIFTH RACE 1 1-16 Miles. The latter ran a good race, but his rider almost fell off in the last sixteenth when he tried to ride hard. JORDAN made up ground and finished well. LENDONIA was going fast at the end. MARINE CORPS was taken completely far baek on the first turn and again when he moved up on the last turn, but came fast in the stretch. COURTSHIP quit badly. FAITHFUL GIRL set the early pace, but was done after leading for a half mile. Overweight Faithful Girl, 2 pounds. Q9QtC SIXTH RACE 1 1-16 Miles. July 19, 1924 1:44 3 100. Won driving; second and third the same. ELIAS O. moved up steadily after making a slow beginning and, finishing gamely, wore GLENTILT down, to win in the final strides. GLENTILT, showing the most speed and away well, set a good pace and appeared the winner when a sixteenth out, but tired near the end. SLANDERER suffered from interference soon after the start and closed an immense gap. EELMAN, possibly best, was allowed to ruu wild and almost caused a fall at the start when lie bumped sharply against CHAPLET. CnAPLET suffered much interference soon after the start and was ridden wide on the turns. ROYAL DUCK was far back nearly all the way. HERALD quit badly after setting the pace briefly.
