RACING AT NIAGARA FALLS Second Summer Meeting Gets Under Way Today with Promis-. ing Inaugural Card. NIAGARA FALLS, OnL, Aug. 26. With more and better horses than ever before assembled at the Niagara Falls track, the second summer meeting of the Belleville Driving and Athletic Association will be inaugurated tomorrow afternoon. Some of the horses which will be seen under colors at this meeting have never before appeared on a half mile track. There are three hundred stalls at the track and the management has made arrangements for stabling one hundred horses with nearby farmers. The two meetings already held here have put Niagara Falls firmly on the racing map. The June meeting was far more successful than the initial meeting last October and the management has every reason to believe that the coming meeting will far surpass that of last June. "We have plenty of good horses and expect larger crowds than we have yet had here," said M. C. Dewer, general manager of the association. "We have made arrangements to run special trains from Buffalo, Toronto and Hamilton. I have recently been in these and other nearby cities and found considerable interest being taken in the meeting."
