U Latonias Fall Stake Program LATONIA, Ky., Aug. 26. The Kentucky Jockey Club has distributed the program book for the autumn meeting at Latonia, which inaugurates the fall racing season in Kentucky, beginning on September 13 and continuing for 31 days, ending October 18. It will be during this meeting that the third and most valuable of International Specials, between Epinard and the best of our American horses, will be run. j International Special No. 3 will be decided at. Latonia Saturday, October 11. The Kentucky Jockey Club offers 550,000 added for this mile and a quarter contest, which undoubtedly will be witnessed by the largest crowd that ever gathered at Fair Latonia. Other stake features to be run at Latonia are the Latonia Championship, of 15,000 added; the Latonia Cup, 10,000 added; the Queen City Handicap, 10,000 added ; the Covington, Autumn and Fort Thomas Handcaps, each 5,000 added. Practically all the best horses in training in this country are eligible to these valuable fixtures and the prospects were never brighter for the most wonderful racing Kentucky has ever seen in the fall of the year. Here is the list of Latonia stake attractions and the order of their running: Saturday, September 13 Covington Handicap, one and one-sixteenth miles, three-year-olds and over, 5,000 added. Saturday, September 20 Autumn Handicap, three-quarters mile, three-year-olds and over, 5,000 added. Saturday, September 27 Fort Thomas Handicap, three-quarters mile, two-! year-olds, 5,000 added. Saturday, September 27 Latonia Cup, two and a quarter miles, three-year-olds and over, 10,000 added. . Saturday, October 4 Queen City Handicap, one mile, two-year-olds, 10,000 added. Saturday, October 11 International Special, one and a quarter miles, three-year-olds and over, 50,000 added.
