KIT CARSON raced into forward contention rapidly and . was forced to race wide, when entering the stretch, but finished resolutely. GERTRUDE D. showed high speed from the start and, saving ground in the stretch, finished resolutely, but tiring. HOOT MON ran a good race all the way. BRIGGS BUCHANAN followed the early leader closely and, moving up resolutely after entering the stretch, raced into the lead in the final eighth and won going away. BLUE HILL forced a fast pace from the start and raced resolutely in the final drive. HONFLEUR saved ground on the far turn and raced into the lead, but was tiring at the end. DRUMBEAT finished fast on the outside. LEVOY showed the most early speed, but quit. BEAR GRASS ran a very bad race. ANNA MARRONE II. showed high speed from the start and, setting a fast pace, raced BLUE MOON into defeat, but tired near the end. MARGIN made up ground and finished fast. REJECTION showed the most early speed and set a good pace to the last eighth, but tired badly in the final drive. PRINCE JAMES ran well. COSTIGAN moved up rapidly on the stretch turn, but tired. BOWMAN, away well, raced into second 1 place after rounding the far turn and lost some ground in the stretch, but made a fast finish. SUNSHOT C rushed into the lead, raced DICKS DAUGHTER into defeat, but tired in the final drive. HANDS UP I ran prominently from the start. FLYING DEVIL closed up seme ground. PATHAN came wide on the last turn.
