WOODBINES OPENING STAKE Weights Allotted for 0,000 Added Toronto Autumn Cup to Be Run Wednesday. TORONTO, Ont, Sept 20. Weights for the Toronto Autumn Cup Handicap with 0,000 added for three-year-olds and over at one mile and a quarter to be run on "Wednesday, September 24, the opening day of the Ontario Jockey Clubs fall meeting at Woodbine Park were announced at noon on Saturday by Frank J. Bryan, handicapper. Interest in Canada chiefly centered in the weight allotment to the Canadian champion, Hallucination, from the stable of Commander J. K. L. Ross and conqueror of Spot Cash at Hamilton. Hallucinations weight is 123 pounds and is second only to the Rancocas Stables Grey Lag whose weight is 132 pounds. The expectation is that there will be an exodus of horses from New York to Toronto upon publication of the weights and if Hallucination can carry this impost and beat the best horses in training it will be a triumph for Canadian breeding. Many shrewd horsemen believe Hallucination is the best horse ever bred in Canada and the handicapper is evidently of the same opinion. Following are tho weights: Horse. Wt.
