At post 2 minutes. Start good and slow. "Won driving; second and third the Fame. BALANCE SHEET showed the most speed from the start and gamely outfinished MYRTLE BELLE in the final drive. The latter gained steadily on the inside and was wearing the winner down at the end. MIXTURE raced prominently from the start, but tired in the final eighth. SEA TIDE ran well all the way. LITHUANIA ran a good race. PIRATE GOLD was under restraint for the first turn of the field, jumped poorlyat several of the obstacles, then closed a big gap at the end. CARLTON followed the -winner in closest and game pursuit, but tired through the final sixteenth. NAUTICAL ran well and finished gamely. VARIATION ran well and was interfered with on the last turn and forced back. LADY AUDREY closed a gap and finished fast. DELMOR quit after going five-eighths. SPOT CASH raced in closest pursuit all the way and made a fast and game finish. , KING SOLOMONS SEAL closed a big gap resolutely from a slow beginning, but tired right at the end.- CATALAN ran a good race from the start and was not persevered with when he tired. RIALTO finished well. WILDERNESS had no mishaps. CHERRY PIE began slowly and tired badly after racing into third place. LITTLE CHIEF was always outrun. ROCK POCKET was rushed into close quarters on the far turn and forced to be taken up, then came to the outside and he closed up ground in a fast finish. The latter began quickly, drew away Into a clear lead, saved ground on all the turns and only gave way right at the end. SANCY moved up with a rush and finished fastest of all. KING JIMMY ran well and finished fast on the inside. DELHI BOY finished well. LAWLESS began slowly and moved up with a rush, but tired at the end."
