CHLOE I, bolted through the fence while enroute to the post, ran away two miles and -was ordered scratched by the stewards and mntuels tickets on her -were refunded. GLAD NEWS, was tiring rapidly at the end and was hard pressed to outstay HUCKLEBERRY FINN. The latter finished gamely.
