I LAT0N1A TURF NOTES I LATONIA, Ky., Sept 20. Preston Burch who is in charge of the extensive racing and breeding establishment of J. K. "Wingfield, stopped off this afternoon enroute from Lexington to Havre de Grace where the "Wingfield stable is now located. Mr. Burch has been on a tour of inspection to Lexington where the extensive band of Winkfield-owned yearlings are at present F. J. Grefer, who formerly raced the good mare Floral Park, was an arrival from New Orleans. "W. J. "Weber, another former owner came in from San Antonia, Texas. J. "W. Parrish came over from his home in Midway, Ky., for the afternoons sport George Lavine, a youth from Brooklyn, N. Y., and J. A. Mooney of New Orleans were granted jockey licenses. Lavine will ride for the stable of Frederick Johnson while Mooney will be attached to the stable of J. B. Res-pess. John Hachmeister, former manager of La-tonia and Douglas Park, was an arrival today from New York. Jockey J. "Wallace left Saturday night for Havre de Grace to join the stable of his new employer, W. S. Kilmer.
