FINISH OF THE LATONIA CHAMPIONSHIP STAKES Here is Chilhowee winning the valuable Latonia Championship Stakes at Latonia, last Saturday, when he established a new American record for a mile and three-quarters. He led all the way and at the end was eight lengths in front of Mad Play, which can be seen in the picture, struggling desperately, but unsuccessfully, to overtake the flying Gallaher colt.
