ON TOP set the early pace, then was saved behind RIN TIN TIN to the stretch and. taking the lead again, drew away to win easing up. RED HAWK was outrun early, but closed a gn and passed RIN TIN TIN in the final sixteenth. The latter raced into the lead on the last turn, but tired in the stretch drive. The latter raced into prominence by saving ground when beginning the last turn of the field, but tired slightly right at the end. GREST HILL raced prominently, but tired badly in the final quarter. The latter showed high speed In fast pacemaking, but tired when challenged. TEN SIXTY raced well and finished fast. DREAM MAKER was outrun, but finished well. AMPOLAC was badly messed about, but finished fast after getting clear on the oat-side and caught BUENA VISTA in the final strides. The latter tired after racing into a contending position in the stretch. CLEG tired and so did BELLE FAY. NOEL was outpaced in the early running, but came on the outside of the leaders when nearing the stretch and, coming fast, wore BLIND PLAY down in the final sixteenth and won In the last stride. BLIND PLAY raced into a good lead, but tired slightly right at the end. TEN MINUTES began better than usual and followed the leaders closely under restraint, but was held safe in the final drive. KING SOLOMONS SEAL closed a big gap and finished fast. GOLDEN SPHERE quit. NEW HAMPSHIRE was knocked back after passing the half. Scratched S49923Dr. OMara, 105. JOLLY showed the most speed to the stretch, but gave way when put to a drive. GRAY GABLES could not get up and barely outstayed ALTISSIMO. TRIUMPH ran far below his real form.
