COLUMBUS RACING TODAY Excellent Program Provided for Inauguration of Autumn Meeting at Beulah Park. COLUMBUS, Ohio, Oct 21. With the Beulah Park Handicap as the feature of the initial days racing, the autumn meeting of the Capital City Racing Association will be inaugurated tomorrow. An excellent card of seven races has been provided and topheavy fields are likely to be the rule throughout the meeting. There are already six hundred thoroughbreds on the scene, the stabling accommodations being greatly overtaxed. With the arrival this morning of starter Marshall Cassidy from Toronto and judge John T. Ireland from Lexington, Ky., the official family is also completed. W. R. Norvell, who will serve as racing secretary and presiding judge, got in yesterday from Toronto. R. A. Forsha was an arrival from New York with three head, which will be raced under the name of Grove City Stable. They include Roseberry, Briggs Buchanan and Oran. Former jockey E. Gugan will train this trio. R. J. Howell sold privately Cacambo to the Fairplay Stable, trained by W. E. Fairman. Allan Bulcroft of Montreal was an arrival. U. Hale came from Latonia with Great Beginner. Several carloads of horses got in today from Toronto, including the R. F. Cop-page string in charge of trainer Olin Johnson. There is an abundance .of good riders ready to accept mounts, over forty being registered with the clerk of the scales, W. R. Booker. Although the weather turned cold here last night, the present outlook is encouraging for! the opening. The track is at its best. ,
