PIMLICO PLANT IS READY All Improvements Completed and Many Stables Are Arriving for the Meeting. BALTIMORE, Md., Oct 24. All the improvements at Pimlico have been completed. The stalls other than the new stables have all been dug up and fresh dirt and lime put in them. They are now ready to receive horses. The first shipment from the West, which arrived at Pimlico Wednesday morning, included five horses of E. R. Bradley. Among the number are Blue Warbler, his Pimlico Futurity candidate ; Baffling, one of the besi L sprinters now racing ; Honor, a recent pur-cliase from the Rancocas Stable, and a couple 1 of two-year-olds. The horses will be in 1 charge of H. J. Thompson. Along with Mr. Bradleys horses G. H. Keene brought Altawood . to Pimlico to fill 1 his distance engagements in the Bowie Handicap and Pimlico Cup. Recently Joseph E. Widener engaged Mr. Keene to train horses j that race in his colors on the flat. Mr. Widener - also recently purchased Altawood from i C. Bruce Head. Fred Kraft, trainer for the Ascot Stable, arrived Tuesday at Pimlico with Ten Eyck, AI Boyd, Sylvan Spring, Gold Button and 1 Camphor. He also brought Jyntee, which is s his own property. Frank Eray is expected to arrive in a day j or so with the Lilane Stable horses, which i include Sunsini and several two-year-olds. William Booth arrived with four horses s owned by Bayard Warren and Bayard Tuck-erman, Jr. These horses are intended for r the steeplechase at Pimlico. The Lexington Stable and Xalapa Farm horses, in charge of Roy Waldron, are at t Pimlico, and a division was sent by van to o Laurel to fill their engagements. The steeplechase course at Pimlico is now v in good condition. All the jumps have been filled and trimmed, and the cross-country y horses will be given a chance to school.
