DANBY raced into the lead while rounding the last turn and succumbed right at the end. BRUNS made up ground and finished fast. POGONIP set a fast early pace and tired. CARDIFF finished well. STORMALONG raced into the lead in the stretch when OUR STAR quit, but could not withstand the rush of the winner. WRACKHORN cased back after the start and saved ground on the first turn, then closed up ground and finished with a good display of speed. COMEDY closed a gap. COURAGEOUS set a fast pace under good riding and, after being headed In the stretch, out-gamed GOLDIIECE in the final drive. GOLDIIECE beat the gate and raced well, but was tiring when challenged. CHRYSALIS finished well after being badly outpaced to the stretch. OVERALL ran well and had no mishaps. SLOW AND EASY raced gamely. NEW HAMPSHIRE set a fast pace, but tired slightly in the final drive. II. T. WATERS challenged on the outside in the stretch, but tired. OSPREY began slowly, but finished with a belated rush.
